Guests can access a fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove, microwave, fridge, and essential cookware. For outdoor dining, there’s a BBQ and a lovely garden setting to enjoy meals in the fresh Central Otago air.

Art Room
Situated in the main School building, this versatile ensuite room can be configured with a King bed or two Single beds to suit your needs. It also features an additional lockable exit that leads directly into the garden, providing extra convenience and privacy.
Facilities include: a shower, toilet, all linen, electric blankets, a heater, and a hairdryer.
Library Room
Situated in the main School building, this en-suite room can be configured with either a King bed or two Single beds. It also offers direct entry to the garden, providing a peaceful outdoor space.

Staff Room
Located at the front of the main School, this bright and airy ensuite room features a comfortable Queen bed and a Single bed. It can be configured as a double, twin, or family room, offering flexibility for different guests. The room also has wheelchair access and opens onto a lovely patio, providing a relaxing outdoor space.
Facilities include: a shower, toilet, all linen, electric blankets, a heater, and a hairdryer.
Drama Cottage - not available during the winter season
This self-contained unit is part of a standalone rustic-style duplex garden cottage, shared with the Music Cottage. The ensuite room can be configured with either a King bed or two Single beds, offering flexibility for guests. Outside, a small verandah overlooks the gardens, providing a perfect spot to unwind with a cup of tea or a refreshing cold beer. The unit also features a kitchenette equipped with a sink, fridge, kettle, toaster, and dishes for added convenience. Facilities include: a shower, toilet, all linen, electric blankets, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, heated towel rails, heater, and hairdryer.
Music Cottage - not available during the winter season
This self-contained unit is part of a standalone rustic-style duplex garden cottage, shared with the Music Cottage. The ensuite room can be configured with either a King bed or two Single beds, offering flexibility for guests. Outside, a small verandah overlooks the gardens, providing a perfect spot to unwind with a cup of tea or a refreshing cold beer. The unit also features a kitchenette equipped with a sink, fridge, kettle, toaster, and dishes for added convenience.

Detention Shed
The Detention Shed is a popular choice for families or groups of three or four. It can function as either two separate rooms or a two-bedroom unit, with an attached bathroom for convenience. If booking the two-bedroom unit option, please note that due to the building's repurposed design, the layout is linear. Bathroom access from the twin room is either through the double room or around the outside of the building. It’s a bit quirky, but it works—as long as you know what to expect! The main bedroom is set up with a Queen bed, while the second room has two Single beds. Both rooms can be locked off from each other internally and also have external locking, allowing them to function as separate rooms (Detention Shed Double and Detention Shed Twin). The bathroom is located off a small enclosed porch area with an external door.
The Cabin - available on request during the winter season
This room is a recent addition to the School complex, originally a refrigerated shipping container, now transformed into a charming, sunny room in the Lauder School B&B garden. It features a Queen bed and a Single bed, making it ideal for one or two people or small families. The room also has a verandah, perfect for enjoying your morning cuppa or afternoon beer. The shared bathroom is just a short walk around the Sports Shed.
Facilities include: a Queen bed and a Single bed, all linen, electric blankets, and a heater.
Sports Shed - available on request during the winter season
This room was once the original School's Sports Shed, now transformed into a charming double or twin room. It is situated just across the path from the shared bathroom, offering convenience and comfort.
Facilities include: a King bed or two Single beds, all linen, electric blankets, and a heater.
Play Hut - available on request during the winter season
This cosy twin room shares nearby bathroom facilities with the Cabin and Sports Shed. Situated at the end of the Detention Shed, it is an excellent option for supplementary accommodation, especially for additional children of families staying in the Detention Shed, Cabin, or Sports Shed.
Facilities include: Single beds, all linen, electric blankets, and a heater.
